I maintain my own Mandriva RPM repositories where I deposit some backports from cooker and other RPMs I found all around the net.
To add my repository to your urpmi database, do as root, in a terminal:
urpmi.addmedia --update kev-rpms http://kev.coolcavemen.com/static/repository/mandriva/2008.1/x86_64
The command above is for Mandriva 2008.1 on 64 bits x86 CPU. If you have another version or flavour of Mandriva, look at the list of repositories at the end of that page and replace the URL by the right one.
urpmi is able to resolve packages’ dependencies, so please, do not forget to add all main, contrib and PLF (both free and non-free) repository from easy urpmi. It’s also a good idea to add backports version of all those previous repository.
